Multiple fatalities in shooting at Christchurch mosques | ABC News
Multiple people are dead and one person is in custody after a mass shooting in two Christchurch mosques, in what Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has labelled “one of New Zealand’s darkest days”.
Police say a person is in custody, but others could still be at large. A witness said he saw a man dressed in black enter the Masjid Al Noor mosque then heard dozens of shots, followed by people running outside in terror.
All Christchurch schools are in lockdown and witnesses have reported multiple injuries.
