Tottenham started the final ‘a man down’ by playing Harry Kane – Steve Nicol | Champions League
Stewart Robson and Steve Nicol join ESPN FC’s Craig Burley, Ale Moreno and Adrian Healey following Liverpool’s 2-0 win vs. Tottenham in the 2019 UEFA Champions League final. The FC guys question Mauricio Pochettino’s decision to include Harry Kane in the starting XI and feel he made the wrong choice. Burley talks of Liverpool’s “excellent progression” under Jurgen Klopp, which led to the Reds’ sixth European title, their first since 2005. Plus, many questions are raised as to whether or not Tottenham missed a huge opportunity to keep hold of star players Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Kane.
