LaMelo Ball’s FIRST JBA Practice + Contract Signing & Jersey Reveal – JBA Team LA Signing Day
This was after about 8 hours of media/pictures and a training session. I think the focus for the team was to just get a practice in together. Could have gone harder for sure but I wouldn’t say that any of these players are “lazy”. This is the only time I’ve ever seen LaMelo workout but I would assume he does train harder elsewhere. The talent level of the JBA isn’t D1 yet for sure, but each team does have a couple players who have high potential for sure. I think LaMelo knows hes gonna dominate and not have to try too hard in this league so that may be why he isn’t going all out. Team Atlanta & NY’s practice seemed a lot more intense, possibly because they had their training session scheduled after the practice instead of before. Didn’t even know LaMelo was going to be here, I was here to shoot an upcoming series we are doing and got lucky enough to be able to watch LaMelo sign his contract and get his first practice with his JBA Los Angeles squad! After seeing all the players in the JBA, I think there is some decent talent, but LaMelo is probably gonna go off every game and have the same green light he had with the Big Ballers all season.
